Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Interventional Radiology – New Jersey

Start Date: September 21, 2026
Location: New Jersey
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts with two 30-minute breaks; every other weekend; on-call every 3rd week; must work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit needs

  • Daily census of approximately 12 patients in a 2-room Interventional Radiology suite

Requirements:
  • Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required at time of submission
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Proficient in PICC and Midline placement and care; must be able to administer moderate sedation and circulate in IR procedures
  • Clinical skills required include: central venous access (non-tunneled/PICC/port), thoracic aortography, end-tidal CO2 monitoring, procedural sedation monitoring, radiation/laser safety, chest tube placement, lung biopsy, pulmonary angiography/embolization, thoracentesis, chemoembolization, liver biopsy/ablation, paracentesis, TIPS, nephrostomy, renal angiography/stent, uterine arterial embolization
  • Experience with central line insertion/management, implanted ports, IV therapy, infusion pumps, and blood product administration
  • Competent in administration and monitoring of sedation, reversal agents, and emergency medications
  • Preferred backgrounds: Interventional Radiology, procedural experience (OR/CVOR), Cath Lab, ICU/CCU
  • Must be willing to float within skillset without exception
  • Charge nurse experience preferred
