Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology/PICC Registered Nurse – Ohio

Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. No call required. Float requirements apply for bedside procedural support.
Highlights:

Requirements:
- Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with interventional radiology and PICC placement expertise
- Bedside procedural experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Two professional references required; at least one must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
Key Clinical Skills:
- Interventional radiology procedures including bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, and non-tunneled line placement
- PICC line insertion and central line management
- Procedural sedation administration and monitoring with reversal agent knowledge
- Paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures
- Circulating and scrubbing for special procedures
- IV insertion and maintenance
- Interpretation and management of cardiac dysrhythmias
- Emergency medication administration
- Infection prevention and isolation precautions
- Ommaya reservoir access for intrathecal chemotherapy administration
