Healthworks Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Specialty: Interventional Radiology RN
• Shift:: 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday–Friday; shifts scheduled between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• On Call: Approximately every eight weeks
• Call Response Time: 30–60 minutes
• Holiday Requirements: Varying holiday call coverage
• Facility: 373-bed hospital with 344 acute-care beds, 29 inpatient rehabilitation beds, a 30-bed ED, 46 ICU beds, 40 PCU beds, 70 observation beds, and 14 operating rooms
• Facility Designation: Stroke-accredited facility; no trauma designation
• Department Details: Radiology services include X-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine with dedicated radiology nursing support
• Required Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience
• Required Certifications: RN License and BLS and ACLS
• Patient Population: Adult emergency department, ICU, inpatient, and outpatient populations requiring a broad range of radiology exams and procedures
• Required Skills: Radiology preparation and recovery, intraprocedural moderate sedation, port access, and nursing support throughout the radiology department
• Cardiac Skills: Cardiac stress testing in Nuclear Medicine and MRI, cardiac CT scanning, and cardiac or critical-care nursing experience
• Documentation System: EPIC
• Technology/Equipment: Philips iSite PACS and Philips patient-monitoring systems
