Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology / Cath Lab Technologist – North Carolina

Location: Salisbury, North Carolina

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. Call coverage required twice weekly for two weeks per month, plus one call weekend (Friday 4:00 PM – Monday 7:30 AM) per month. Call rotation includes 24/7 STEMI and emergent/urgent IR and cardiology procedures. Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs. Patient ratio 1:3-4.

- Weekly rotation providing procedure coverage across all services including STEMI call experience
- Epic charting system with 16 hours of orientation provided
- State-of-the-art equipment including Toshiba Angio Lab, IVUS, MAC Lab, AngioJet, Penumbra Thrombus System, and advanced ultrasound units
- Collaborative team environment with three-person call teams including RN support
- 16-week contract with 266-bed facility handling approximately 10 procedures daily
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab/IR Technologist required
- Both Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology experience required
- ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications required
- Ability to scrub, circulate, and manage telemetry
- Demonstrated STEMI call experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
- North Carolina or Compact state license required
- Preferred skills include IV start, triage, PA lines, and conscious sedation
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
