Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Unit Details

As a Registered Nurse in the Interventional Radiology unit, you will have the opportunity to support and manage a variety of procedures, including but not limited to:

  • Bronchoscopy
  • Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS)
  • Navigational Bronchoscopy

Shift and Schedule

This position involves a day shift schedule consisting of 4 ten-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30), with the expectation of weekend on-call rotations. You will be required to be on call 1 to 2 days per week and 1 weekend per month.

Floating Requirements

RNs may be required to float within the facility and to nearby locations as needed, always within their scope of practice.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required for this role. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Compliance and Orientation

Full compliance is required to ensure a timely start. Delays in compliance may result in a postponement of up to 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. The number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by contract length.

Holiday Requirements

Traveling nurses are expected to work one major holiday if it falls within the assignment period. If two major holidays occur, both are to be worked. For three major holidays, two must be worked. Major holidays include:

  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving/Black Friday
  • Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
  • New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Once a candidate has signed and submitted their confirmation, the manager will have 48 hours to review the profile and determine if there is a fit for the unit, schedule, and expertise.
