Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Columbus, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time position with 4 procedure rooms and average daily census of 25 patients. Call coverage includes 8-10 call shifts per month as part of a 3-person call team, plus every third weekend. Weekend requirement is every third weekend (no more than 2 per month). Maximum 7 days of requested time off permitted.

Highlights:

• Interventional Radiology specialty with diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Epic EMR system required (must have previous Epic experience)
• Stroke thrombectomy experience required – essential qualification
• Full interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Comprehensive procedural environment with exposure to angioplasty, carotid stenting, vascular closure systems, and extremity angiography
• Travel nursing assignment with local candidates accepted at same rate

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology nursing experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Epic EMR system experience mandatory
• Stroke thrombectomy experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Proficiency with procedural sedation, IV vasopressors, dysrhythmia management, and vascular access devices
• Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) and sheath removal/monitoring
• Full compliance documentation required by Tuesday prior to start date
