The RN will provide pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure patient care. Experience with moderate/conscious sedation is required. Candidates must be comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with physicians, technologists, and support staff. This role includes the opportunity to assist with the development of new interventional service lines and advanced procedures. The unit has 5 beds and a patient ratio of 1:4. Equipment used includes monitoring systems, power injectors, ultrasound guidance equipment, and sedation equipment. The electronic health record system is Cerner. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Candidates should possess strong communication and teamwork skills. Calmness under pressure and an ability to respond to emergencies is essential. This position requires a patient-focused approach with an excellent bedside manner. A positive attitude and willingness to help build an expanding program are necessary.
