The RN will monitor patient vitals during invasive procedures. Experience in an interventional radiology or cath lab setting is preferred. A confident RN who thrives in a group setting with technologists and other RNs is ideal for this role. The unit consists of 225 beds with patient ratios of 1:1 for RN to patient. Equipment used includes Siemens Artis Z, Siemens Artis Q, and Philips EPIQ ultrasound machine. Electronic medical records are managed using a specific system. Scrubs are supplied by the facility, and light blue surgical scrubs are the standard attire. The role may include an on-call rotation with other RNs.
