Join Our Team as an Interventional Radiology RN!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Cape Girardeau, MO - **Department:** Interventional Radiology - **Role:** Registered Nurse (RN) - **Shift:** Days (5x8) - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 40 - **Call Requirements:** Rotational call - **Required Certifications:** - ACLS - PALS - BLS - Certification with ARNA preferred - **Experience:** Minimum 1 year - **Float Requirements:** Must float as needed **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 269 in hospital, 1 IR angiosuite, 5 IR holding area beds - **Patient Ratios:** 1:1 in Imaging - **Equipment:** Nihonkohden patient monitors - **EMR:** CERNER / transitioning to EPIC in October 2024 **Must Have Skills/Experience:** - Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English - Accountable for delivering quality care to patients in the Imaging Department - Provide direct patient care, monitoring patients' conditions - Observe and record patients' vital signs - Maintain intravenous lines for fluid administration - Administer first aid and assist with patient comfort - Deliver medications under physician direction - Assist in various imaging procedures - Maintain IV skills and emergency equipment - Liaise between the Imaging department and patient care division - Ensure proper documentation of patient records - Notify appropriate personnel of any changes in patient condition - Coordinate changes in Imaging policies affecting patient care - Exhibit excellence in hospitality, courtesy, and compassion **Preferred Skills/Experience:** - Experience with invasive and non-invasive procedures in IR suite, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and Diagnostic - Strong personality fit for critical care nursing, remaining calm under pressure **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color:** Surgical scrubs provided for procedure areas - **Unacceptable Attire:** Street clothes **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
