    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an 8-bed short stay/observation unit with a 1:4 patient ratio, managing conditions such as anemia, cellulitis, COPD, dehydration, and pre/post-op urology and GI cases
    • Administer and monitor cardiac and other drips including Cardizem, Nitroglycerin, Insulin, and Heparin
    • Read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips; completion of an EKG exam during compliance is required
    • Manage a high volume of admissions and discharges with average patient stays up to 48 hours
    • Float to all inpatient units as needed, including IMC and CTU units
    • Collaborate with team members and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient experience while managing tasks independently and efficiently
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • BLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
    • ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
    • Minimum 3 years of RN experience
    • At least 1 prior travel assignment required
    • EPIC charting experience required
    • Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • NIHSS certification highly preferred
    • Background in observation units, medical-surgical, or telemetry settings
    • Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, high-change environments
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude
