Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting
- Document patient care accurately in the healthcare record according to established standards
- Direct and delegate care to team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence
- Promote a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach with patients, families, and all members of the care delivery team
- Participate in the development and maintenance of hospital policies, procedures, quality improvement, and safety objectives
- Maintain and ensure own professional effectiveness through ongoing education and professional development
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or proof of Washington State license application submitted at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown or comparable specialty
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not eligible for this position
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Candidates must be willing to float as needed within the health system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Epic EMR experience, particularly within the past year
- Experience working in a travel nursing capacity within a similar acuity setting
- Two professional references from the past 2 years, with at least one from a supervisor or Charge Nurse
