Contract | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Overtime shifts of 48 hours may be available
Key Responsibilities
Provide intermediate care nursing for adult patients (18+) in a 64-bed IMCU, including 15 designated Neuro beds
Manage a diverse patient population with diagnoses including Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Respiratory (COPD), DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV Stepdown, and post-operative cases
Operate and monitor specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo systems
Provide care for patients on chronic ventilators (unable to wean) in collaboration with Respiratory Therapy
Float to other units as required
Document and maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications
Active New York State RN License (verified via NURSYS report required at time of submission)
Minimum 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU setting
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Up-to-date resume documenting IMCU/PCU experience and any travel nursing experience

Background in Neuro, Cardiac, or Trauma intermediate care settings
