Contract | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 48 Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide intermediate care nursing for adult patients (18+) on a 64-bed unit, including 15 designated neuro beds
Manage patients with complex diagnoses including neurological, cardiac, trauma, respiratory (COPD), DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-operative conditions
Operate and monitor specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo systems
Care for patients on chronic ventilators (unable to wean) in coordination with respiratory therapy
Float to other units as required
Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications
Active New York State RN License (verified and in good standing)
Current AHA BLS certification required
Current ACLS certification required
Current NIHSS certification required
Minimum 2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU setting
Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Local candidates are welcome to apply (local pay rates apply for those residing within 75 miles of the facility)

Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience in an IMCU or PCU setting
Experience with neurological patient populations
Familiarity with temporary pacemakers, arterial lines, and ventilator management
