Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Some Weekends and Holidays Required | Possible Extension
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Stepdown unit setting
- Perform IV starts, lab draws, and specimen collection
- Monitor and titrate critical drips as clinically indicated
- Utilize intermediate-level fetal monitoring (FM – Intermediate) skills as applicable
- Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications throughout the assignment
- Complete up to 8 hours of non-billable orientation modules via HealthStream prior to start
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (or documented proof that licensure is actively in process)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum one (1) year of recent Critical Care or ICU experience
- Proficiency in IV starts, lab draws/specimen collection, and titrating critical drips
- Minimal time-off requests accepted; RTO must be disclosed at time of submission, particularly around holidays
- Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- 3+ years of experience preferred for Critical Care/PCU placements
