Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Some Weekends and Holidays Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Stepdown setting
- Perform IV starts and lab draws / sample collecting
- Titrate critical drips and monitor patient responses
- Utilize intermediate fetal monitoring skills as applicable to unit needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
- Complete up to 8 hours of pre-start, non-billable orientation modules via HealthStream
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (must be obtained prior to start; candidates with a pending license must provide proof that the process is underway)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum one year of recent Critical Care or ICU experience
- Experience titrating critical drips
- Minimal to no requested time off; flexibility around holidays is expected
- Must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates residing within 31–50 miles may be accepted at a local rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience
- 3+ years of critical care or stepdown experience
