Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Stepdown unit setting
- Perform IV starts, lab draws, and specimen collection
- Monitor and titrate critical drips with proficiency
- Utilize intermediate-level fetal monitoring skills as applicable to patient population
- Maintain compliance with pre-start modules (up to 8 hours, completed prior to start date via HealthStream)
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted RN license (if pending, proof that the process is underway may be considered)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum one (1) year of recent Critical Care and/or ICU experience
- Proficiency with IV starts, lab draws/specimen collection, and titrating critical drips
- Minimal to no requested time off (RTO); especially around holidays — must be disclosed at time of submission
- Royal Blue scrubs required (not provided)
- Must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates residing within 30 miles will not be accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- 3+ years of Critical Care experience a plus
