Job Title

Travel RN - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Night Shift

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Expected 48 hours/week
Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Stepdown) setting within a 266-bed acute-care hospital
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and outcomes
• Adhere to facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements throughout all aspects of patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or compact license eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or IMC setting
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or progressive care environment
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry in a stepdown or PCU setting
• Experience working within large, multi-service acute-care hospital systems
