Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting during night shift hours
- Float between two campuses as required, with a primary campus assignment
- Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate-level care, including telemetry and step-down level interventions
- Adhere to facility dress code; navy scrubs required
- Complete all required learning modules prior to the start of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license, verified within the last 30 days — no disciplinary actions or hits on state license
- Minimum of 24 months PCU experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required)
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required)
- PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
- Valid driver's license required to verify residency
- Must not be an Arizona resident — candidates residing in Arizona are not eligible for this assignment
- Must be available to start on or within one week of the listed start date; no time-off requests (RTO) during the first week, and total RTO may not exceed 7 days for the assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Flexibility with facilities, shifts, and departments is strongly advantageous in securing a placement
- Experience in surgical step-down or intermediate care settings
