Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Step-Down) setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and outcomes
- Participate in bi-weekly facility orientation as required
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down unit
- Current BLS certification; additional certifications may be required per facility standards
- Must meet travel designation requirements (residing 60 or more miles from the facility)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in an acute care hospital environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or progressive care setting
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and intermediate-level patient acuity
- Experience adapting quickly to new facility systems and workflows
