    Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Weekend Nights (Friday & Saturday required; third shift on any other day of the week) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
    • Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and ensuring safe delivery of care
    • Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
    • Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
    • Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
    • Anticipate and plan for patient care needs within an LTAC/Telemetry environment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
    • ACLS certification required – must be through the American Heart Association
    • BLS certification required – must be through the American Heart Association
    • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
    • PCU / IMC / Stepdown or LTAC experience
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience
    • Telemetry monitoring experience
    • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute or long-term acute care settings
