Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 34-bed Progressive Care Unit with a 4:1 patient ratio, managing cardiac, neurological, and progressive care patients
• Perform telemetry interpretation and continuous cardiac monitoring, including management of vasoactive drips within PCU/IMC scope
• Manage patients requiring high-flow nasal cannula, BiPAP, CPAP, chest tubes, and PCA pumps using Alaris IV infusion pumps
• Care for post-cardiac procedure patients and participate in rapid response events as needed
• Complete documentation accurately and timely using EPIC
• Adhere to patient experience standards including bedside shift report, hourly rounding, and patient-centered care practices

Required Qualifications

• Current, active RN License (must be valid for the state of assignment)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown setting
• Proficiency in telemetry interpretation and management of cardiac and neuro patients
• Ability to meet a 4-weekend shift requirement per 4-week period and participate in holiday rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with TEE and cardioversion procedures
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records documentation system
• Prior experience in a Comprehensive Stroke Center, Chest Pain Center, or Level II Trauma Center environment
• Strong rapid response experience and comfort in high-acuity, fast-paced settings
