Key Responsibilities
- Provide intermediate and progressive care nursing to patients in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting
- Monitor and manage patients with cardiac conditions and those recovering from cardiovascular surgery
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Cardiac and post cardiovascular surgical nursing experience required
- CPR certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ANCC Cardiac Certification preferred
- Prior experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit
