    Key Responsibilities
    • Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
    • Manage and care for patients requiring Med Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) level nursing.
    • Perform and monitor advanced clinical procedures including chest tubes, femstops, trachs, continuous bladder irrigations (CBIs), drains, and central lines.
    • Administer and titrate vasoactive and cardiac drip medications including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, and Argatroban.
    • Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation and patient management.
    • Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, or PCU/Stepdown setting.
    • Active Illinois RN state license required; Iowa RN state license required upon offer.
    • BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
    • ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
    • Demonstrated competency with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, central lines, and vasoactive drip titration.

    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • At least one prior travel nursing contract completed.
    • Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment.
    • Familiarity with EPIC EMR platform.
