    Travel RN – Cardiac Progressive Step-Down Unit (Night Shift)

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: August 17, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 25-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit with a 4:1 patient ratio on night shift
    • Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and EKG readings
    • Manage a fast-paced environment involving frequent admissions, discharges, transfers, and procedures
    • Perform unit-based procedures including peritoneal dialysis (PD) and EKGs
    • Utilize Meditech EMR to document and coordinate patient care
    • Adhere to weekend rotation requirements, including every third Friday and Saturday night plus additional Friday or Saturday nights per schedule
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Virginia
    • Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience, including EKG interpretation
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
    • Demonstrated ability to manage high patient volumes in a fast-paced cardiac setting
    • Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech EMR
