    Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care Unit (Nights)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights | 3x12 shifts, 36 hours per week guaranteed

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
    • Manage and monitor patients with moderately complex conditions including post ischemic/hemorrhagic stroke, sepsis, cardiac, and respiratory diagnoses
    • Administer and titrate vasopressors and titratable drips; manage arterial lines, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and trach patients
    • Read and interpret ECG/telemetry rhythm strips in accordance with unit requirements
    • Coordinate care across a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
    • Float to other units as needed within competency level; availability to work weekends, holidays, and one additional shift per 4-week schedule period is required
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Nevada RN license required prior to start
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
    • Minimum 2 years of IMC/Stepdown experience
    • Demonstrated experience with vasopressors, titratable drips, arterial lines, neuro-stepdown patients, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and trach management
    • Must pass an ECG/Telemetry exam upon placement (failure results in contract termination)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Medical/Neuro ICU experience preferred
    • Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced trauma or acute care environments
