    Key Responsibilities
    • Serve primarily in an ED Holding unit, caring for a mixed patient population across acuity levels including ICU, PCU, and Med-Surg patients
    • Maintain flexibility to float across multiple inpatient units including PCU, Med-Surg, Oncology, Ortho, Palliative, Rehab, and ICU within scope of practice
    • Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV medication titration, and management of invasive lines, vents, chest tubes, trachs, drains, and ostomies as applicable to assigned unit
    • Transport patients throughout the hospital to various departments including ED, CT, MRI, PACU, and Cath Lab as needed, particularly on night shift (ACLS certification required for transport role)
    • Provide patient education and maintain strong communication with interdisciplinary team including hospitalists, intensivists, and respiratory therapy available 24/7
    • Document accurately using EPIC EMR; administer medications via Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis dispensing system
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Washington
    • BLS certification required for all unit assignments
    • ACLS certification required for ICU and PCU assignments
    • NIHSS certification required for ICU and PCU assignments
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant clinical setting (ICU, PCU, or acute care Med-Surg)
    • Telemetry competency required prior to or during orientation
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
    • Proficiency with higher-level therapies such as CRRT, vent management, or prone positioning
    • Experience caring for oncology, orthopedic, palliative, or inpatient rehabilitation patient populations
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity float pool environment requiring flexibility and independent clinical judgment
