Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: August 10, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 23-bed Progressive Care Neuro Trauma unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
- Monitor patients using bedside monitors, end-tidal O2 monitoring, high-flow oxygen, chronic vents, and subdural drains
- Assist with and oversee unit procedures including chest tube management and EEG monitoring
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of RNs and patient care aides across day and night shifts
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Float to all inpatient units including ICU and ED as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New Hampshire or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Telemetry experience required
- Step-down unit experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neuro nursing experience strongly preferred
- Trauma nursing experience preferred
- NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
