Travel RN – ICU/Stepdown (IMC/PCU)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract – 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time | Onsite | Rotating Weekends Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an ICU/Stepdown (Telemetry) unit on a 6th floor inpatient setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate or progressive care, including telemetry monitoring
- Document all patient care activities accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Respond to call requirements as needed per unit policy
- Float to other units as needed based on census and staffing demands
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hospital nursing experience
- Minimum 2 years of ICU/Stepdown or PCU specialty experience
- Active, unencumbered Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week with rotating weekend availability
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
- Background in Telemetry, PCU, or Stepdown nursing environments
