Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
Supervise staff to whom appropriate care has been delegated
Support facility nursing leadership to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
Monitor and maintain competency of clinical staff under supervision
Manage resources appropriately as they relate to patient care
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
Experience in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Step-Down setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with cardiac monitoring and telemetry
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in an intermediate or step-down care environment
