Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate care has been delegated
- Ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered consistently
- Support competency evaluation and development of clinical staff
- Manage resources appropriately as they relate to patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
- Experience in an IMCU, PCU, or Step-Down unit setting
- Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:4
- Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a monitored unit environment
- Familiarity with telemetry and cardiac monitoring
