Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Step Down / Intermediate Care (IMC/PCU) setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry and progressive care interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care as appropriate
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the facility EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Mississippi or compact state eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years of Step Down, IMC, PCU, or Telemetry nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Permanent residence located 50+ miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Seclusion and Management of Aggression (SAMA) certification
