Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a progressive care/stepdown unit setting with patient ratios of 4:1 for PCU and med/surg patients
- Utilize and document in the Meditech electronic health records system
- Operate and monitor unit equipment including ventilators, specialty beds, and occasionally CRRT
- Collaborate with Charge RN, fellow RNs, and PCTs to deliver safe, quality patient care
- Fulfill a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule block
- Adhere to floating policy - contract labor floats first as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Tennessee or compact state eligibility
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
- Med/surg background required to meet patient experience requirements
- Navy scrubs required as dress code
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a PCU, stepdown, or IMC setting
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
- Experience with ventilator management and specialty patient care equipment
