Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed Burn ICU/PCU setting with ICU ratios of 2:1 and Med/Surg and PCU ratios of 4:1
- Operate and monitor specialty equipment including ventilators, specialty beds, and occasional CRRT
- Document patient care and clinical information using the Meditech documentation system
- Collaborate with Charge RN, fellow RNs, and PCTs to deliver safe, high-quality care
- Fulfill a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule block
- Adhere to floating policy — contract labor floats first
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or a compact state
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Med/Surg experience required to meet patient experience standards
- Must comply with dress code: navy scrubs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Burn ICU or PCU/Stepdown unit
- Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system
- Experience with ventilator management and CRRT
