Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Progressive Care / Intermediate Care unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess patients requiring step-down level care, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float between PCU and cardiac-related units as operationally required
- Adhere to facility dress code (navy scrubs) and all compliance, background check, and credentialing standards
- Complete required facility learning modules prior to the start of assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions on record
- Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
- Valid driver's license required to verify non-Arizona residency (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Experience working in Med/Surg environments in addition to PCU/step-down settings
- Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments to facilitate faster placement
