Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level cardiac care and telemetry
- Float to designated units as required based on patient census and staffing needs
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed per unit requirements
- Complete all required facility learning modules prior to and during the assignment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona with no disciplinary actions on record (verified within last 30 days)
- Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (documentation required)
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (documentation required)
- Active PALS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (documentation required)
- Active TNCC certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (documentation required)
- Valid driver's license required to verify residency; Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment
- PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Flexibility with shifts, departments, and locations to expedite placement
- Experience in cardiac or stepdown/IMC unit environments
