PCU / Surgical Stepdown – Registered Nurse (Travel)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Surgical Stepdown unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess patients requiring an intermediate level of care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
- Float to Medical-Surgical / Telemetry units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing — Kansas licensure or multistate compact license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience in a PCU, IMC, Stepdown, or similar intermediate care setting
- Ability and willingness to float to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
- Familiarity with surgical stepdown patient populations and post-operative care
