Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Intermediate Care Unit setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than general medical-surgical floors
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU, IMC, or Stepdown nursing experience
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Experience with electronic health record systems in an acute care setting
