    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

    Location

    Madison, WI | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care across IMC Acute Medical/Progressive Care and IMC Thoracic units
    • Monitor and interpret telemetry for oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown patient populations
    • Manage patients requiring ventilator support and transplant care
    • Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
    • Pass a mandatory telemetry exam (adult and pediatric) prior to start, with a minimum score of 80% and 100% identification of lethal rhythms
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license required
    • BLS and ACLS certifications – American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown specialty
    • Telemetry, oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
    • Ventilator and transplant experience required
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a Magnet-designated or academic medical center environment
    • Familiarity with thoracic patient populations
    • Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills across both adult and pediatric populations
