Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 45-bed Progressive Care Unit with a patient ratio of 4–5 patients per nurse on both day and night shifts
- Manage cardiac drips and cardiac catheters in accordance with unit protocols
- Perform chest tube management, wound care, and administration of TPN/lipids
- Utilize cardiac monitoring equipment, lifts, and Dynamap devices as part of routine patient care
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care technicians in a team-oriented environment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure (or compact eligibility) in the state of Colorado
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of overall nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Cardiac and/or ICU experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
