Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown / IMC / PCU setting with a 5:1 patient ratio
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing and responding to changes in patient status
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Cerner electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Complete all required Advanced Learning Center modules as assigned for the unit
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Tennessee
- Minimum 1 year of Stepdown, IMC, or PCU nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records system
- Completion of all required Advanced Learning Center modules prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Strong adaptability and ability to quickly integrate into new clinical environments
