Coordinate total nursing care for an adult and geriatric patient population in a stepdown/IMC/PCU setting
Administer and monitor cardiac drip therapy in accordance with facility protocols
Provide dementia management and patient-centered care for cognitively impaired patients
Participate in patient and family education throughout the care continuum
Collaborate cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and interdisciplinary patient care team members
Float to additional unit(s) within the facility as needed based on census and staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
Active New Hampshire RN license or qualifying Compact RN license
Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
Cardiac drip experience (must be noted on profile)
Dementia experience and management skills
Proficiency with Epic EMR
Personal vehicle required — this is a firm requirement due to lack of public transportation in the area
Preferred Experience / Skills
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or demonstrated experience
Prior travel nursing experience in a stepdown or progressive care environment
