    Key Responsibilities
    • Coordinate total nursing care for an adult and geriatric patient population in a stepdown/IMC/PCU setting
    • Administer and monitor cardiac drip therapy in accordance with unit protocols
    • Provide dementia management and care for patients requiring specialized behavioral support
    • Participate in patient and family education throughout the course of care
    • Collaborate cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and interdisciplinary patient care team members to maintain professional nursing standards
    • Float to an additional unit within the facility as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active New Hampshire RN license or valid Compact RN license
    • Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
    • Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification
    • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
    • Cardiac drip experience required
    • Dementia experience and management skills required
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR required
    • Personal vehicle required — this is a small community without public transportation
    • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or experience strongly preferred
    • Prior travel nursing experience in a stepdown or progressive care setting
