Coordinate total nursing care for an adult and geriatric patient population in a stepdown/IMC/PCU setting
Administer and monitor cardiac drip therapy in accordance with unit protocols
Provide dementia management and care for patients requiring specialized behavioral support
Participate in patient and family education throughout the course of care
Collaborate cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and interdisciplinary patient care team members to maintain professional nursing standards
Float to an additional unit within the facility as needed
Required Qualifications
Active New Hampshire RN license or valid Compact RN license
Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
Cardiac drip experience required
Dementia experience and management skills required
Proficiency with Epic EMR required
Personal vehicle required — this is a small community without public transportation
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or experience strongly preferred
Prior travel nursing experience in a stepdown or progressive care setting
