Provide direct patient care in a mixed-acuity Burn ICU/PCU setting, managing patients from admission through discharge regardless of acuity level
Perform and assist with unit procedures including debridement, dressing changes, line insertion, chest tube insertion and maintenance, and post-operative procedural care
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using AirStrip technology and manage hemodynamic drips with proficiency in titration
Conduct bedside shift reports and uphold patient experience standards centered on courtesy, respect, and individualized care
Collaborate within a strong multidisciplinary team including burn surgeons, nurse practitioners, intensivists, rehab, dietary, pharmacy, and case management
Float to like units (ICU/PCU/CCU) as needed per unit floating policy
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with a minimum of 1 year of ICU or PCU level of care experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
TNCC certification required
Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation
Experience with hemodynamic monitoring
Ability to meet scheduling requirements including 3 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period
Preferred Experience / Skills
Burn unit experience strongly preferred
NIH and ABLS certifications preferred
Familiarity with Meditech documentation system and Alaris IV pumps
Experience with hemodynamic drip titration in a critical care environment
