    Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Stroke & Brain Unit) | Travel / Seasonal

    Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: 11/30/2026 | 3 shifts/week; 3–4 weekend shifts per scheduling period

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Stroke & Brain unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
    • Monitor and interpret telemetry and manage patients requiring cardiac drips
    • Care for stroke and neurological patients, applying NIHSS assessment skills
    • Utilize unit equipment including Welch Allyn VS Machines, Hoyer lift, Sarah Steady Lift, Bladder Scanner, and Doppler
    • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
    • Float to other units within demonstrated competency areas per facility floating policy
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Missouri or compact equivalent
    • NIHSS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • BLS certification required
    • Minimum 1 year of RN experience
    • Demonstrated stroke experience
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience managing cardiac drips and basic dysrhythmia recognition
    • Neurology nursing background
    • Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
