    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 3 shifts/week including 3–4 weekend shifts per contract period

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Stroke & Brain unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
    • Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry and neurology observation
    • Administer and titrate cardiac drips as ordered by the care team
    • Perform and interpret basic dysrhythmia recognition
    • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
    • Float to other units within demonstrated competency areas per facility floating policy
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Missouri or a compact state
    • Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a PCU, stepdown, or IMC setting
    • NIHSS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • BLS certification required
    • Demonstrated stroke experience
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring
    • Neurology nursing background
    • Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
    • Experience with equipment such as Welch Allyn VS Machines, Hoyer lift, bladder scanner, and Doppler
