Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) | Night Shift

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide progressive care unit (PCU) level nursing care with patient ratios of 4:1 (up to 5:1 when a tech is available)
- Perform telemetry monitoring and interpretation for assigned patients
- Assist with unit procedures including paracentesis and thoracentesis
- Operate bedside vital signs equipment and document accurately within the Meditech EMR system
- Collaborate with charge nurses, techs, and interdisciplinary team members on a night shift team
- May be required to float to Med/Surg as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of PCU experience
- Telemetry interpretation skills required
- PCU level of care experience or higher (Med/Surg-only backgrounds will not be considered)
- Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech EMR
- No on-call requirement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing critical cardiac drips
- Hematoma management post-sheath removal
- Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented, communicative, and patient-centered approach
