Key Responsibilities
Float between various medical and surgical units including Medical, Surgical Acute (Laulima), and Cardiovascular units
Provide direct patient care in accordance with unit-specific nurse-to-patient ratios (Medical 1:6 days/eves, Laulima 1:6, Cardiovascular 1:4)
Operate unit equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes
Adhere to unit orientation program with orientation time provided for each assigned unit
Maintain professional nursing attire (clean scrubs) per dress code policy
Candidate must hold an active State of Hawaii RN license by the start of the assignment
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — State of Hawaii license required by start date
Minimum 2 years of RN experience (up to 10 years)
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Documented proof of immunity required; medical and religious exemptions will not be accepted in lieu of documentation
