    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Float Pool)

    Location

    Hagerstown, MD

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Float between Med/Surg Telemetry and IMC units as part of a float pool assignment
    • Provide direct patient care at ratios of 1:4 to 1:6 depending on unit assignment
    • Manage and monitor patients presenting with acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, trauma, and stroke
    • Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR
    • Participate in weekend and holiday scheduling as required by unit needs
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience in a hospital setting
    • Minimum 2 years of IMC (Intermediate Care) experience in a hospital setting
    • Recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR — recent experience is required and must be documented on submission
    • BLS and ACLS certifications required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are not accepted for this role)
    • Comfort with high-acuity patient populations across multiple unit types
