Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Float Pool)

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00)
Key Responsibilities
- Float between Med/Surg Telemetry and IMC units as part of a float pool assignment
- Provide direct patient care at ratios of 1:4 to 1:6 depending on unit assignment
- Manage and monitor patients presenting with acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, trauma, and stroke
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR
- Participate in weekend and holiday scheduling as required by unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience in a hospital setting
- Minimum 2 years of IMC (Intermediate Care) experience in a hospital setting
- Recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR — recent experience is required and must be documented on submission
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are not accepted for this role)
- Comfort with high-acuity patient populations across multiple unit types
