Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care/Stepdown unit setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate-level care, including cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
- Float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as needed
- Maintain compliance with all unit-specific protocols and documentation standards using Cerner EMR
- Participate in every-other-holiday scheduling as required
- Complete all pre-start modules and orientation requirements prior to entering the facility
Required Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- ACLS certification required (AHA only)
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address — local candidates are not eligible for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Two supervisor references preferred at time of submission
- Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Stepdown setting
