Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Weekend and Holiday Rotation | No On-Call
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown setting at a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Monitor, manage, and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
- Manage peripheral lines and PICC lines in accordance with clinical protocols
- Titrate IV drips as ordered and within scope of practice
- Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
- Complete non-billable orientation modules as required by the unit
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
- Demonstrated experience with cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Experience with PCU patient ratios (1:5)
- EPIC EMR experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with peripheral and PICC line care and management
- Experience titrating drips in an intermediate or progressive care environment
